The spacious and comfortable rooms all have air conditioning, cable TV, and wireless internet. The ceiling fan was fine, but there was an additional rotating fan that really helped cool down the room, as it was still quite warm early September.Bryce View Lodge offers two different options for rooms, so whether you want some privacy or have the family together you can choose either a room with a king bed or a room with two queens. I would request a different cabin next time. But, we just closed the drapes at night to avoid being disturbed. Surprised that there wasn't a door or fence hiding the machine would really improve the look.

The only negative was the Pepsi machine was just outside one of our windows. Couldn't be closer to the Canyon! Loved just walking out the door to hike, watching sunrise or sunset, or viewing the stars at night. Bench on front porch was a great place to relax with a glass of wine. Bathroom set up was great as, there was an additional sink in a dressing area. Room had a table, 2 chairs, 2 queen beds, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

Front porches were set up so that everyone had some privacy. The cabin was fantastic! Spacious, clean, and super cute. Extremely happy with our choice and would absolutely stay again. Seemed like a much better deal than the hotel rooms. As for everything else related to the sights, and places to go within the park it's a sure stop not to miss!Ĭhose the historic cabins. I would personally drive out of the parks boundaries and seek other options. I would rate the main dining om a 1 to 10 rating, mine would be a 5.

While I liked the onsight amenities I do wish there was public use hot tub on sight. Photos came out looking pretty decent for a phone. So if visitors can get a clear night sky, you are in for a real treat! For all you "nighttime" and 'nature enthusiaist' photographers, I highly suggest a portable, yet not so heavy tripod for your hefty DSLR cameras! Being an intermediate non-pro photographer I used my smartphone and my body to take photos. However being outside where there is ZERO light pollution makes ALL the difference!! As I said and mentioned earlier, weather plays a huge role. Yes the milky way is visible with the naked eye in the Eastern states. We live in Maine for the summer season and there's some light pollution. That was absolutely amazing!! Our family loved it. Being walking distance to the rim walks we tool advantage of the night sky. As for the properties onsight amenities, (excluding the rim walks and being able to use our personal car to get around), that includes the wonderful weather we recieved.our time was well worth the money and thoroughly enjoyed being outside. Which I can understand.get outside, but I did like coming back from long days outside to check email and keep up with the weather. Although there was no cable TV, and had wireless internet that wasn't all that great. Our room was an end unit so it was very sweet! Being on the second floor I personally liked having a balcony that had somewhat of a view. So that made our travels less stressful and not so worrisome when traveling with kids under 21. Keep your body in good condition without having to call 911!!** - Our room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. And even though altitudes may or may not have an affect on others visiting (from out of state), you can't expect every day to be like Florida!! A mile above in elevation does ans can have affect your body. **Just because the temps drop and seeing no ice or snow on the ground doesn't mean wearing shorts and a t-shirt is ok!. As I mentioned the time of year, month, weather, and the amount of clothing visitors bring to the lodge reflects their stay and how warm or cold it can be. That way visitors can take a layer off during the afternoon/ lunchtime. It never hurts to wear comfortable while not wearing so heavy layers. One day it can be really nice spring like (60's and low 70's) and the next day.the temls can dip down into the 40s. As for the weather it plays an important and massive role here. Families, friends, and extended family members were actually taking photos of the ampitheaters below, going for long walks arou d the lodges grounds or down the steep trails, walking with their pets for fresh air and exercise, and obviously everyone loved the weather. Aside from the Park itself, what I like the most was seeing visitors and those staying in the lodge rooms.was seeing everyone outside. The drive/ ride here from Zion National Park isn't very far and makes access to the lodge/ the grounds very easy.
